I'm not a fan of apple's OS (I run windows on my macbook pro as well as OS X) but their hardware is generally second to none.
I wasn't a fan of the chicklet style keyboard when I first got my MBP, but I got used to it. And when I wanted to change from my clunky "multimedia" keyboard on my dell hybrid I got for my office, I wanted something slim that doesn't waste space. This fits perfectly. Thin, but still with all the buttons I need. Response time on the buttons is quick, there are convenient usb ports underneath on each end, and it comes with a USB extension cable as well.
Works well on mac or PC.

When I recently bought my new iMac, it came with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Initially I liked the idea, but in use I found that even lithium batteries wear out pretty quickly unless you turn the mouse and keyboard on and off every time you shut off the computer. Not gonna happen.
So when I spilled a glass of wine (a lovely Malbec) into my keyboard on my 5YO iMac, I purchased this new wired version to replace it. So much better than the clear plastic one I ruined, because it doesn't collect as much dust and cat hair as the clear one. It is a real pleasure to use compared to the new wireless version because there are no batteries to replace. This also has the numbered keypad on the right that I use all the time for style sheet shortcuts in Quark, and it has 2 USB connections that the wireless one doesn't have.
All around, a winner as far as I am concerned.

I have been tested at speeds approaching 100 WPM, and this keyboard is a pleasure to type on. It definitely feels different, and the keys depress more shallowly than other keyboards, but it just seems to perform really well. The low profile is beautiful, and easy to tuck out of the way when I need more desk space. You have all the functionality of a full-size keyboard, but without all the bulk.

I havent read all of the customer reviews for this product, but I am sure that this will be one of only a few reviews for this keyboard as it relates to it being used on a Windows 7 based PC.
This keyboard is everything I hoped it would be and more. It is very compact, durable and sleek. But, it is also very comfortable and easy to use. Bottom line, this is probably the best keyboard I've ever purchased and used.
I did some research before I bought the keyboard, knowing that I wouldnt be using it on a Mac and wanted to figure out if there were any issues associated with compatibility/functionability issues with a Windows OS or non-Apple hardware. While I came across some good reading and some hybrid software that is supposed to fully unlock the keyboard and make all of the keys functional for a Windows-based PC, I was led to believe that the keyboard wouldnt work properly before windows completely finished its boot sequence or without the aid of that hybrid software. That information was wrong.
This keyboard works like a charm and didnt need any additional software downloads to make it fully functional with my computer. It works fine at the initial pc startup, so using it to set up your BIOS or when first installing windows isnt a problem.
I know that I am in the minority with it's use, but this keyboard is wonderful and will satisfy anyone looking to purchase one, whether or not its going to be used on a Mac. This probably isnt the review Apple had in mind when they made this product, but then again, maybe it is.

I got this keyboard for use with my Apple MacBook Pro MC374LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop and an external monitor. In all respects, this is an excellent keyboard, since the keys are well laid out and it is easy to get the hang of using it in a short period of time. Yes, it is also "cool" to look at, but also very functional. What is also nice is that it includes two USB ports and thereby functions as a USB hub.
The only very minor issue I have with this keyboard, as with any Apple keyboard, is that there is no "Insert" key. This is not an issue when you use it with Mac OS/X, but it does pose an minor pique for those using their Macs with Windows (either when running Windows installed on the Mac or when running a Windows Remote Desktop session). I found out that the insert key is either the "Fn" key or "Fn" + "return" keys, depending on the Windows application you are using.
Overall, I'm glad I purchased this keyboard.
