 "Excellent Keyboard" 2010-08-24
By phenolic
I bought this to use with my Macbook Pro and it is absolutely fantastic. I sit the laptop beside me on th e couch with only the keyboard in my lap. It is much lighter than I thought it would be, and I like the lines better than the Mac keyboard (I'm getting a bit bored with the brushed aluminum.)

PROS: Lightweight, no setup, perfect look and feel for what I need. Volume keys map to Mac right out of the box

CONS: Not Backlit, keys do not glow in dark and contrast on keys is not significant.

 "Light, Comfortable Keyboard" 2010-08-23
By C. Lindhartsen (Eastern Washington, USA)
I bought this keyboard to replace a traditional full-size [all F keys, numberpad, media controls, Logitech S520] due to that one taking up too much space on my desk when I didn't use the number pad on an extremely often basis, as well as requiring space for a Bamboo Pen-Touch tablet.

First off, in comparison, this keyboard is quite literally as light as a feather. It's rather sleek looking with a shiny black finish with chicklet-style keys, though it is prone to looking a little messy around the edges due to this. The keys are well spaced and work well for my typing, which I can usually average around 70 words per minute. It also responds pretty well to typing, though it does take a little getting used to if you use some functions, like F11 for full screen, or Print Screen for a screen capture, since they require a function key to be done. The four-way button, replacing the four keys for directions, also takes some time to get used to, and can be a little stiff to operate.

The keyboard is good, but I wish it had some media control buttons, even if they were only available through a FN duo. I do like that volume controls are on the keyboard, and placed in the top left to they are easily assessable.

Overall, the keyboard takes a short time to get used to, just due to using the number keys along the top line, plus the size difference, but I'd definitely suggest it if you don't require a number pad, and if you want to regain some of your desk space back while still having a usable keyboard.

 "quality keyboard" 2010-08-19
By Eriocaulon (Broadview Heights, OH United States)
This keyboard exudes class. It just feels like quality. Microsoft of late has come out with some nice wireless mice too that pair nicely with this. The only other beef is that at this price point, I would like to see some key illumination. otherwise the curve of the keys just feels more natural.

"Just a little too compact" 2010-08-12
By Amanda Hamm (NC)
At first I really liked this keyboard. I have fairly small hands and the compact keys were comfortable to type with. But I was frustrated with some of the space saving tricks, particularly the combined arrow keys. This was awkward. I also switch between backspace and delete a lot in my typing and the delete key was positioned up with the function keys. It was a different sort of key, not as springing, and it didn't work well for a few quick deletions. I stopped using this because I do all my typing at a desk and the wireless feature just wasn't necessary. I'd rather not have to turn my keyboard on and off and worry about battery life.

So I gave it to my kids (including toddler twins) to play with. It has been "typed" on vigorously for weeks and run over by a tricycle more than once and still works. For what it's worth, I can attest to this keyboard being pretty durable.
