     "Great ergonomic keyboard" 2010-08-24
    By cutefroggie
I use an ergonomic keyboard at work and was looking for one for home. This one worked out great! It is easy to use, my fingers fit just right on it and it does not hurt my wrists to type with it. It is just what I was looking for. Also it came with an adaptor to make it USB if your computer is not compatible with the other insert. Love it

     "Strange key resistance" 2010-08-22
    By Goof Ball
Maybe I got a bad one ... shift key sticks a little and takes undue amount of pressure to use. I type math code regularly for 40 hours a week and hitting the shift key to make brackets made my fingers ache.

Other keys also got sticky after a few weeks of use. I feel like I'm stabbing my fingers onto concrete or something. The only alternative is to go so slowly with typing that I can't get the words out of my head. A pencil would hurt less.

The older Microsoft Natural multimedia keyboards were great. I went through about one every 2 years or so before they sort of wore out and got painful. I'll try one with the pad or whatever. I'm not a fan of pads and fabrics with my allergies. I'd rather have the plain plastic.

I went to type a document for a while today and every keystroke I hit makes my fingers hurt.

I do have chronic inflammation so small things are bigger with me. What feels like concrete to me might feel like pressing on wood for someone else.

The keyboard design is nice. I have long fingers. The keys are in decent places. They just feel sticky and stop painfully to press down. There's one amount of force to push it down, then a strange stop. Push a lot to get over the initial resistance, then the resistance somehow disappears at the end of the key press, where it feels like slamming a door. Cannot type quickly with this keyboard without injury. Must go very slowly. Still hurts eventually.

Essentially, it's like pressing a screen door closed that's slightly resisting you with its cylinder thing, then all of a sudden, no resistance and you end up slamming the door. I think that's why my fingers cannot stand this keyboard anymore.

Perhaps it is just the particular keyboard I got since so many like it. The spacebar has more resistance than the other keys and that is not pleasant.

Will try some other keyboards. Would have been a good keyboard. Could even live with what feels like odd arrow key placements. I practically turn my hand at an angle to use the arrow keys. I find myself using the mouse more in documents and math software than ever before after this keyboard. The strange key resistance is unacceptable. If yours doesn't have this, great. Mine makes it unbearable.

"I've had one since they came out, and will ALWAYS have a Microsoft Natural Keyboard." 2010-07-28
    By David T. Macknet
I was a little frantic, being in the UK, and realizing that their keyboards are different. When my old one gave up the ghost after some long years of being pounded, I made sure to order new ones when I was back in the U.S. -- this is the best keyboard for my work.

     "Ergonomic keyboard" 2010-07-27
    By N. Ngo (Houston, TX)
The Microsoft Keyboard Natural Elite is very nice looking in appearance and very sophisticated...been looking for an ergonomics keyboard that is white in color and good in price...this says it all and is very easy to use and elevated. The only thing that I noticed was the arrow keys were smaller than other normal keyboards, but this is a nice keyboard that will keep for a long time.

     "MOST COMFORTABLE KEYBOARD AVAILABLE!" 2010-07-03
By Marion Stewart (CYPRESS, TX, US)
This is my third one...can't get them in stores anymore. Once you are used to this configuration, the others are very uncomfortable. I do wish it could be cleaned more easily; the only problem I've had was something getting down into the keys and then you have the sticking problem. Just hope they keep making them.
