I bought this keyboard for use with my iPad when I'm typing long emails or blog entries and I'm away from a full-size keyboard. This product is functional, but it feels cheaply made and not worth $30. I have seen gadgets with similar build quality and packaging in dollar stores, and I would expect to pay $15 if I purchased this item that way.
The product does work, and it's pretty simple to set up for use with an iPad or iPhone. After connecting the supplied USB-to-micro-USB cable and charging for an hour or so, the keyboard's charging LED will indicate that it's ready for use. Turn it on with the sturdy ON/OFF slider switch, and then press there small button on above the 9 key to tell the keyboard to pair. The iPad will detect the keyboard and then request that you enter a code and then press the Enter key to pair. After this, you're all set: all standard keys work as you'd expect, and some of the media keys (volume, mute) will work as well. I did not test battery life exhaustively over the two days, but it seemed adequate for writing a few long emails or posts for an hour at a time.
The biggest issue for me is that the keys require too much force for me to type very fast. This combined with the necessity to use modifier keys for common symbols and arrows makes this keyboard less efficient than simply using the iPad's on-screen keyboard. Those additional symbols are printed in red and blue ink, which are difficult to see in low light on the black rubber/silicone keys. (Backlighting would be a great addition.) The F and J keys also lack any nibs for positioning your fingers. This means you have to look down at the keyboard to type -- another reason I couldn't type very fast.
In addition to this, the keyboard feels cheap. Part of this is how light and insubstantial it feels, part of it is the rather amateur packaging, and part of it is the manufacturing details. In the photos I've posted here, you can see in particular that the ON/OFF switch labels appear to be either overpainted or improperly struck during the manufacturing process. This makes the product feel like a knock-off. I don't know if it is, but there are a couple of nearly identical products out there that look like they are better made. You can Google for "Adapt Tech ADK-100" to see what I mean.
If this product was half the cost, it would be worth keeping for occasional typing. As it is, I'm returning it and focusing on getting better at touch-typing with the touchscreen on my iPad.

This is actually a couple of questions for readers who have used the product. (Ignore my rating, as I have not used it. The system here required me to enter a rating.) I am writing to ask questions of the reviewers.
1)Is the keyboard backlighted? (Could be very important, if one wants to use it in less than good lighting.)
2) Is there a good on/off switch, that won't go off by accident in the pocket? (If not, and the unit remained on, not only would the battery run out very quickly, but buttons could be pressed accidentally in the pocket, which if turned on, could cause unintended consequences on the phone. Important to be able to turn the unit off, and for it to stay off in one's pocket, before one turns it on again.

I got this for the HD2. It does pair with no problem and works pretty much as expected. It's light and compact and charges easily with the HD2's charger cable. The issue I have with it is the keys are rather "spongy" and lack a definitive "click". I have to correct too much text mostly because a key wasn't pressed hard enough.
Is it better than Swype? Yes. Is it as good as a folding keyboard? Not by a long shot! Still, if you're looking for something that easily fits in you pocket for not too much moola, then this might be a good choice.

This product will not work with a stock HTC EVO. It will, however, work on a rooted EVO running the Cyanogenmod ROM. Cyanogen built standard HID support into his ROM and so the keyboard works wonderfully. My only gripe is the build quality. The plastic front grid bows up in the middle making the middle keys harder to push. The overall stiffness of the keys is also just enough to make me not use the pad for everyday typing. It does work great as a controller for NESOID and GBAOID emulators.

This Bluetooth keyboard works very well with ipad. Paring up is really easy. First, I turn the keyboard on and then click the pairing button at the upper right corner. And then, turn on the Bluetooth on the iPad. It immediately found the keyboard and asked to type the letters displayed on the screen. Once done, they were paired up.
After that, the soft keyboard stopped coming up on the iPad screen. Instead, you can simply use the Bluetooth keyboard to type. Speed is good. The keys are little bit hard to press quickly due to the size of it. After a while, I got used to it and can type much faster now with less error.
Overall, I am very happy with this. It makes it a lot easier for me to type emails. (I do a lot of emails everyday). Recommended highly.
