"Great Keyboard, but possible mfg defect" 2010-08-19
By S. Chen (Irvine, CA USA)
This is one of my favorite keyboard between work and home. The look, feel, and overall ergonomics is just excellent. Unfortunately mine suffered a failure at around the 11th month of light use. The A, S, tab, and F1/F2 keys all stopped working concurrently. Did some search on the net and apparently this is a common problem with this keyboard. Tried different computer, new battery, reinstall software, and eventually opened a case with Logitech support. After some back and forth email they basically agree it has failed and would issue a refund or replacement. Unfortunately this keyboard has been discontinued and thus no replacement is available, so I opted for a refund. Too bad as I would love to have a replacement, but the fact they offered a refund is a testament to the excellent support Logitech provide to their products.

 "Awesome" 2010-07-27

If key "feel" is important to you then you owe it to yourself to pick one up!

I frankly think that the k340 is a much better device to lug around with your notebook.

This device is perfect, I mean the perfect keyboard for a home office.

 "Thin and sleek keyboard" 2010-06-12
By Kent (Irvine, CA)
I use this keyboard for my HTPC in the living room. It's a keyboard that I don't mind leaving out because it is sleek. I pair this wireless keyboard with my Logitech Nano VX mouse on the end table. Sometimes it's hard to type with this keyboard on my lap, but my biggest qualm about this is the battery life. It's rated for 3 years, but it didn't last that long. I don't know how Logitech tested the keyboard to allow the batteries to last 3 years. I picked this up months ago during the rebate which made it a deal impossible to pass up.

"Great keyboard but missing a couple things" 2010-05-27
By C. Boyd (New York)
I won't re-cover what other reviewers have said. This is a great compact keyboard with full layout including number pad. The construction is excellent and actually take it with me on any road trip I need to do any significant amount of work on.

For that reason, I think there are 2 significant omissions.

1.) a place in the keyboard to stow the USB fob. What were they thinking? They have cool little button push, pop out fobs on their notebook mice but not on this keyboard designed for notebook use? Really silly omission, especially at this price.

2.) a couple little pop down feet to change the angle of the keyboard. This isn't a dea breaker. There is a little built in "roll" on the rear of the keyboard that elevates it a little. Mostly comfy to type in no matter the work surface you are forced to use in hotels, but a couple feet could have helped on occasion. Again, a simple and cheap addition.

This is a great keyboard, with great feel, build quality, and size. I just thionk at this price point, these 2 very convenient options would have been a slam dunk. When you lose or misplace your USB fob, you'll agree with me.

 "My Favorite Wireless Keyboard" 2010-05-08
By A. Kim (MA)
Summary: Excellent Keyboard.

This keyboard is very responsive, feels and looks great. It has absolutely mind-blowing battery life. Even after almost a year, the battery is still strong and the keyboard keeps up with my typing. I type an average of 90+ words per minute but this thing keeps up. I can't say the same about the Alto Stand/Keyboard combo.. that keyboard just can't keep up and there's a noticeable lag.

Buy this! I really have nothing bad to say and that is rare for a product. Maybe I wish it were bluetooth so that I don't have to plug in the USB adapter into my laptop every time but then I'm sure the battery life would suffer if it were bluetooth.

The keyboard looks great too.

Buy this when it goes on sale, you will absolutely not regret it especially if you type fast.
