I had a Logitech wireless ergonomic split key which I loved. Unfortunately, after five years of constant use it gave up the ghost. Because I needed one immediately I went to Best Buy. There were no wireless split keyboards available so I got this one. I loved the ease of getting it up and running as I have a USB Logitech mouse that was a breeze to install as well. The problems started immediately. This keyboard is so small that nearly 50% of the time I hit the wrong key or duplicate keys and instead of hitting the shift key the caps lock key is usually hit instead. I'm not the best typist but this keyboard now makes me type like I am just learning. The one redeeming feature that it has is the backspace key which is now the key that I use the most. When and if I find another wireless split key I will happily smash this one with a hammer or give it away to someone that I don't like.

This keyboard arrived in the mail for me today, got two day shipping with Amazon prime.
From my first impressions this keyboard seems to be exactly what I wanted at this point in time. Also I am looking at this keyboard more from the perspective of a gamer than a writer.
Pros:
Setup was a breeze, within a minute of opening the box I was up and running typing away. Windows 7 identified the USB receiver and installed the needed drivers on its own.
The keyboard it self feels very sturdy, what I expected from a Logitech keyboard.
The keys feel pretty good, the keys seem to be "low profile". In the fact that they are kinda short and also to not make much noise at all.
Speaking of the keys. the f1-8 keys work as media controls also. I assume because this is a wireless keyboard, that you could use it for a media center and such. Have not test it, but seems useful.
As I said before, I mostly use keyboard for gaming. So far I have used this in Modern Warfare 2 and Team Fortress 2, and seems to do just fine. Feels like it will be able to take quite a few years of my abuse.
And finally the stylish part, I love the way this keyboard looks. It is a nice matte black with white designs on both sides.
Cons:
So far nothing, I guess the fact that the keyboard was left with the "ON" switch when I opened it. And the fact that I will eventuality have to replace the batteries, but nothing else I can think of.

When we received the keyboard we were pleasantly surprised to find the 305 mouse. We have found this mouse is our favorite for our laptop computer and has the nano receiver. It also has a better function to control the off/on switch which makes it easy to determine if the mouse power is on or off.
The keyboard fits just right on our limited desk space and has all the functions that we use for normal computing. The keys are easy to read.

I am very impressed with this little keyboard! I bought it because it was the lowest priced wireless keyboard - being a rather random impulse buy, I didn't want to spend much at all on it. Also, in light of my prior experiences with wireless keyboards and doubting if it would work well, (if at all!), also made me want to go for the lowest price.
Well! Was I surprised! This keyboard works exactly as it claims to! You plug in the TINY USB receiver, pull out the stop tab on the PREINSTALLED and NOT DEAD batteries and there you go! Its hooked up and working! Okay.... I thought, too easy! I'll bet none of the fancy extra buttons work right! Wrong! Each of the +function buttons work as designed! Music button opens Windows media player, magnifying glass opens search, calculator opens calculator and so on! I've had MUCH higher end keyboards where to use ANY buttons involved at least an hour or more of configurating! (my word - "complicated, painful configuring")
This keyboard is worth every penny of its tiny under $30 price! Wish I'd found this one a loong time ago!

I have been looking for a wireless keyboard but every time I researched one the reviewers scared me off. This one was inexpensive and fairly new so I thought I would give it a try. It has worked flawlessly from the start. I have had it about a month so I can't say if the batteries will actually last 15 months. I like the Logitech Unifying Receiver concept. I added the Logitech M505 mouse which is able to use the same USB receiver and because they both use the "Unifying Receiver" technology, they can share one USB receiver. I have not tested the range of these two devices. I found the M505 mouse performed much better when I plugged the USB receiver into the front of my desktop which meant it was a bit closer to the receiver. Overall I am very pleased with these purchases and the price.
