This product is a great innovation. For years I have seen comments about the position of the body when using a computer and ergonomics. Well, after years of computer use, I have fallen into the bad habit of improper posture. With the airmouse and the compact keyboard I can move away from the desk and sit back in my chair. The keyboard fits nicely in my lap for when I need to type. Mostly, I use the mouse and this is the real beneficial feature of the product which allows the user to be in any position that is comfortable and change that position as necessary.

Easy installation, and the keyboard and mouse worked the first time.
The keyboard has a very small footprint, which is why we choose it.
The '3D Gyro Mouse' takes some getting used to. It's a little like riding a bike - it soon becomes second nature. The mouse also works just like a regular mouse, and I love it's size and shape.
This was a replacement for the same keyboard and mouse - the original keyboard still works fine, and the original mouse lasted about two and a half years.
The price is a little higher than standard wireless keyboard and mouse packages, and the performance and quality are worth the extra money.

I had originally found this because I was looking for a compact keyboard without the numpad built on. I used to use an ergo keyboard but it is just too big to use with a mouse for my articulating keyboard tray. The only problems I've found with the keyboard is that every now and then it'll 'lose' a letter. I.e. you go along typing and it just doesn't enter one of the letters so you have to backtrack and re-enter it. Also, when pushing the ctrl key a lot (closing windows, switching between tabs etc) sometimes it will seem to 'stick'. So I won't be pressing the ctrl key, try to scroll a webpage with the scrollwheel, and it shrinks/enlarges the page's text (which is what holding down ctrl and using the scroll wheel does.) Its an easy fix by just hitting the ctrl key again usually but its strange that it sticks. By the way, to give an idea of the frequency of the keyboard losing letters.. its done it twice in this review. Just a heads up.

I've had the keyboard and mouse for a couple of weeks now so I think I can give a fair review :^)
I have a PC hooked up to my 1080p TV as my main entertainment center. The IR keyboards/mice were quite annoying in that they required line of site to operate. I really hated the remote mice that had track balls as they would be hard to navigate and control, especially if you want to do some basic mouse functions like highlight a section of text. At least, I found it difficult. The air mouse is great. It's easy to use and the range is great. I really like that it can be used as a regular mouse when set down on a surface. The keyboard feels good and it takes very little space. That said, I think a few keys like the backspace and return key could be bigger :^)
The biggest "con" about the keyboard is that at times it can lag if you type fast as others have noted. I would have been happier if the keyboard had a rechargeable battery too, but I have remedied that with a purchase of a charger and some rechargeable AAA batteries (takes four).
I haven't used the air mouse all day, so I can't really speak to how well it keeps a charge. I do place it on the charger every night though. Time will tell how well that works out.
A quick word about installation. I am using Win7, 64bit. The drivers were already on Win7, no extra drivers or installation needed. It quite literally was "plug n' play", barring the initial charge of the mouse battery for
8hrs first :^)
While I paid more than some folks have from Amazon, I think it is worth it. The quality, convenience, and ease of use more than makes up for the price I paid.

Wow! works through 2 walls and 50' away! Exactly what I needed! My computer and monitor is 2 rooms away (in my bedroom) and I can sit in the livingroom and have all my PC functions on my 58" LCD TV! The mouse is so neat (takes only a "play" hour) to get used too. (flick your wrist, not your arm) and the small keyboard (rarely needed) has more functions than my big one by my tower! I haven't even begun to learn all the functions of the package. There is supposed to be alot. I am thrilled with just the basics and hope to learn more! I have only had it for 2 days!
