Support many elderly friends with PC use and training. Needed white keyboard for 80+ person with limited vision. After getting a black keyboard (when I had ordered white) elsewhere and having to return, found this one at Amazon. My client is happy, and it was no stretch for him to use the key marked with Apple's command symbol as the Windows key normally on a PC keyboard. Pros: It is attractive, sturdily made, compact, and quiet. Plus, the black lettering on the white background is just what he needed to make using his computer fun again. Cons: The Apple 1-button mouse lacks the right button, so was not useful for this client.

I bought this to use with my new MacBook so I could place the laptop at eye level while keeping the typing level on my desk. Because the keyboard has 2 USB ports, I didn't lose any. I also gained forward delete on the larger keyboard which macbooks are not able to provide due to a smaller footprint. At $25, you can't beat this.

I purchased this keyboard set when a spilled cocktail took my Apple keyboard out of commission and I didn't want to pay $50 to replace it. This, though it lacks the aesthetic qualities of newer keyboards, is a perfectly fine replacement EXCEPT for one thing: the USB ports on the keyboard don't draw enough power for an iPod to function (sync, charge, transfer music). They also don't draw enough power for my USB scanner to function. Since the existence of USB ports on this keyboard was one of the major reasons I chose it over other options (I was also considering wireless keyboards, most of which don't have built-in USB ports), this is a major letdown. I will probably keep it, out of sheer laziness, but be warned that the USB ports here are effectively useless.

You cannot go wrong with this wired keyboard & mouse. It is a large, full-size keyboard. The keys are shallow but very bevelled and nice. It has a nice solid crisp feel to the typing. The dark gray letters on the light colored keyboard are SO much easier to see than the white letters on the black keys of my original Apple keyboard that I have. Yes, there are two USB ports along the top back of this keyboard which you can't see in the picture. That was very important to me. I can't see losing another USB port on your computer for the mouse! The mouse has a very nice feel in the hand and clicks well. This was just plug in and go - no need for any CD or anything. I am not able to take advantage of the right button or the scroll wheel on my particular computer. Recently bought a new Mac Mini w/Snow Leopard after years of my G4 with OS 9.2. Thought I better update. Rather than buy a new scanner, printer, all new software, just bought this "cheap" keyboard and a cheap Acer monitor from Target to keep my old computer alive thru the transition, and not have to constantly change the cables from one computer to the other for monitor and keyboard. Well let me say even though the price is great this is definitely NOT a cheap keyboard and mouse. I still can't believe the price. (The $99 Acer monitor from Target IS cheap however since it does not have the proper resolution so I had to choose large black bands on each side vs. a truly stretched out picture which made an 8.5 x 11 page look square.) I use a beautiful Samsung 24" for my new Mac Mini. I am going to buy a second of this keyboard & mouse for my new Mac too, that is how much I like it.

Didn't want to spend the ridiculous amount of money for a keyboard from Apple. This was for a Mac Mini I recommended my Step Father to buy. He bought a PC keyboard for it and that just doesn't work out for the short cuts I wanted to show him. So I got this for his Birthday. It works out really great and I think he likes it very much. Saves time on a lot of things.
