An excellent companion for your Macbook very easy to connect via Bluetooth without the need for an irritating dongle.
One thing you need to note is that this is a keyboard without a number pad, but typing on it is a breeze and the size is just right.

Bought this keyboard as the primary alternative to Apple's pre-packaged bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Was thrilled with it when it came, when I installed it and when I used it. I charged it for the first time and it worked flawlessly.
Unfortunately, when it was time to charge it (only the second time), it would not connect to the power base. I contacted the manufacturer and they had some preliminary lame attempts to "make it work." Nothing made the contact between the keyboard and the charger work.
Nicely, Logitech offered me the choice between a refund or a replacement (with a different product) and discovered that - despite the presence of the SAME keyboard on Logitech's website, they are no longer selling that product. Further, Logitech has no bluetooth keyboards for Apple.

Let me start of by saying I really wanted to like this keyboard. I purchased it to use with my Home Theater Mac mini, with the intent of using this one keyboard and integrated trackpad to replace my Apple bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Well, within one week I went right back to the Apple keyboard and Magic Mouse. I think the Logitech diNovo Edge might be a better fit on a desk, because its really big - much bigger than it needs to be, in my opinion. Lots of glossy plastic too, which shows fingerprints and scratches too easily.
The Apple wireless keyboard, on the other hand, is slim, sleek and far more useful in the living room. Typing on the diNovo edge was fine: the keys have a good feel to them, but again I have to give the overall nod to the Apple keyboard for quality and feel. Finally, I found the tiny circular trackpad on the diNovo absolutely horrendous. It is much too small to be of any real use, and its odd shape only complicated matters. As many other reviewers have stated, the trackpad really ruins this whole keyboard. I'd easily give this Logitech 4 stars if it had a usable trackpad.
Until I find a nice Bluetooth Mac keyboard with a large trackpad, I'm going to stick with the Apple products.

I've purchased this keyboard to use with my MacBook Pro. Since I use BootCamp to dual-boot LEOPARD and WINXP, I was somewhat concerned it wouldn't work under Windows. Couldn't have been more wrong!
The winning streak started soon during unpacking since, much for my surprise, my unit actually shipped with e "USB Mini-Receiver". Besides opening the door to "non-bluetooth-built-in" systems, this also meant the workability under Windows was pretty much assured. Some quick field-tests confirmed just that. It worked seamlessly under both OSs.
On the LEOPARD side, you get "passkey protected bluetooth connectivity" and basic functionality out the box. After installing the latest version of LCC, I've managed to get every single bell and whistle working. The corrosive bad press about LCC out there made me very reticent to install it. Nonetheless, it seems this latest version addressed many of the previous issues. So far I have no complaints about it.
On the WINDOWS side, bluetooth didn't work at first. After some extra research, the solution was found on a "Logitech Forums" thread. The catch is that, although you can indeed get bluetooth working, there's seem to be no way to get a "passkey protected" connection. It only works in "no passkey" mode. It's also worth mentioning that the "Eject" key doesn't work. That said, everything else works like a Swiss clock! The TouchDisc, Volume slider, Media keys and Sleep button all work. Even the "Front Row" key works (launches Windows Media Player). I've used "SharpKeys" to create a "Windows friendly" layout (Left CMD->Left Control, Right CMD->Windows Key).
Bottom line: the right software and configurations will get you a keyboard that works flawlessly on both Mac and Windows! Here's a roundup of the steps required for achieving that:
MAC SETUP (tested under Leopard)
1 - Download and install the latest version of LCC (tested v3.2)
2 - Use "DoubleCommand" to map the "Shift+backspace-delete" combination to work as "forward-delete" (I've found this combo handier to use than the native "forward-delete button").
WINDOWS SETUP (tested under Windows XP)
1 - Check out the "Logitech Forums" thread to learn the procedure for setting up a working bluetooth connection (no passkey).
2 - Use "SharpKeys" to create a "Windows friendly" keyboard layout.
Like other reviewers have noted, the "space" key, much in dissonance with the rest of the keyboard, is pretty noisy and feels pretty cheap. The good news is that you'll be to dazzled with the rest of the keyboard to pay any attention to it, :).
The "diNovo Edge Mac Edition" is, by a clear mile, the best keyboard out there for the Mac. For reasons I can't fully grasp, Logitech has decided to discontinue this great keyboard. Get yours while you still can!

I've been on a multi-year search for the perfect (or at least perfectly adequate) wireless keyboard/pointing device. I've tried a bunch of keyboards with trackballs; all of them:
- were cheaper
- did not have builtin rechargable batteries
- had trackballs that were finicky
Some of them had good battery life and some had atrocious battery life; some had decent radio range/reception and some did not; some had scroll wheels and some did not.
This DiNovo Edge feels substantially better built, the builtin rechargeable battery is highly convenient, the radio reception quality and range are great; the trackpad is better than any of those trackballs, but I do wish it was bigger.
Overall, for quality, looks, convenience and overall smooth operation, this one wins.
Cons: it is expensive, and the trackpad still isn't perfect.
